I made it 100 days of blogging people! I thought a reexamination of my time spent on the blogger network was necessary and thus here is a little recap of what I've learned thus far:
A: I have failed miserably on my "blog 365 days in a row" concept....i tend to miss a few days here and there, because life, well, it just gets in the way of my blogging!
B. I also am not cut out for the whole "no shopping" thing. What can I say, shopping is in my blood and it always will be.
C. I also sucked horribly at "pick 30 items, wear only these 30 items for 30 days" it is a brilliant concept Miss Kendi, but not for me.
D. I should probably focus more on the "DIY...do it yourself" portion of my blog, since, duh, that's what I named it. I originally was going to have 365 DIY projects, but that, let's face it, is just crazy talk.
E. Taking pictures of myself in the dead of winter in poor lighting is never a good idea.
F: There are people, other than my mother, that are reading my blog. HOORAY! And I should stop letting you all down, I promise to do better from here on out.
So there is the recap, I would now like to share with you my favorite outfits in my 100 days of blogging:
This is my typical "airport getup" boots, tights, sweater ('cuz it gets a bit chilly on them there airplanes", scarf, and my favorite black jacket.
I will love this dress forever. Because it is the cutest thing ever and it reminds me of shopping with my mother in our favorite boutique (cleverly hidden in a coffee shop) located in, here's the kicker: Mt Vernon, IL!
My version of a "Canadian tuxedo"
Give me some oxfords, a little fedora action, and a cashmere cardi...I'm on board!
My first "inspiration Monday" outfit....modeled after Miss Drew Barrymore. Love it!
See, I can do preppy!
But I do hippie much better!
This was my favorite (and quite frankly the only one that I liked) in my 30 for 30 challenge.
This vest needs to make it out of my closet more. Pho sure!
There will be 265 more outfits to come. How long that takes me I'm not sure!
