God bless Craigslist for solving yet another one of my woes. After sharing my camera dilemma, not two days later I saw an ad (I think they are called ads) for a Olympus camera for $40. Thinking this is too good to be true, I email the guy and set up a little meet and greet.
Josh and I (never go to a Craigslist meet and greet by yourselves, ladies!) then hopped on our bikes and rode down to the Highlands. Sure enough, he had a camera, box, case, attachments, chargers, everything! I mean who saves boxes on 5 year old cameras?! Apparently that guy! I thought $40 was a small price to pay to tide me over until I can find a better camera.
So far, the camera isn't as user friendly as my last one...outdoor photos seem a little tricky, but the indoor ones are fine. It seems to make a little bit of an odd sound when I put the timer on..kind of like a bug zapper, sort of like its pissed to be out of the box!
Josh and I after the "get the camera adventure":
Yes, we are very bright eyed and bushy tailed, thanks for noticing! (he is going to kill me for posting this picture, but I think he looks cute as a little button!) We had some chips and guac at Chili's afterward, it was so good, those chips should be outlawed!
The adventure was a success! I am excited to share some photos again!
Glad to hear you found a camera and will hopefully be able to post again now!
