Day 145: Case of the Inspiration Mundays.

Little quote from office space to start your week. I love that movie. I'm not so crazy about my outfit today, but the inspiration for this week over at Two Birds Inspiration Monday is Sarah Jessica Parker (my fave) so I had to participate.

 And here is my take (yawn)

Don't get me wrong I love me some oversized sweater action, but it is supposed to be 74 degrees in Denver today! However, tomorrow we have a forecast of 32 and snow....ahhhh Denver in the Fall. So unpredictable. But I love it. The outfit is not inappropriate, however, as I am doing a lot of stuff around the house today, which is always a balmy 55 degrees, no matter the temperature outside. Ahh exposed brick and wood floors.

The new roomie moved in all of her stuff yesterday so I am moving and shaking things around in the living room, trying to get it all situated. I'm also looking at craft studio inspirations, hopefully her and I can come to an agreement about how to use our space. She will have to have a home office and I just have to have somewhere to craft/create jewelry masterpieces!

Day 130: Inspiration Monday...on a Wednesday!

Well, Two Birds, sorry that I'm late. I tend to do this from time to time, its funny now that I'm a part-timer I thought I would have more time to blog, wrong again! I finally have time to clean, do laundry, clean out the closet (which I am kind of embarrassed to admit-I own 60 pairs of shoes...and that's after the clean-out!) and send out about, oh, 20 resumes or so a day. Busy little bee these days!

I love the idea of taking maxi dresses into fall, add a little jacket, and you're good to go! Welp, everyone, the word of the day is "Productive"..I'm out!

Day 87: Inspiration Monday....on a Tuesday

So I'm slackin' a bit but I still wanna participate in Inspiration Monday! Is that okay, ladies? Megan and Nora over at Two Birds came up with this idea and I think its brilliant! And any excuse to wear my new chambray shirt is fine. by. me.

The Inspiration:

 

The lovely Brooklyn Decker, ladies and gentlemen. If I revealed that much leg at work I think the guys working in the warehouse would fall off their forklifts. So I had to tone it down a notch and wear shorts, otherwise I would totally be down with the leg showage!

I absolutely love my new hairdo. So much I think I'm going to go back to Aveda soon and give Mr Ian a big fat kiss on the lips. (or maybe just a card to say thank you) He talked me into a deep conditioning treatment that worked wonders. I haven't washed my hair in almost three days and it still looks so clean and healthy.

Oh yes, the shoes, how could I forget these. I loves them so much, my sister talked me into buying them about 6 years ago, they have been through the ringer, holding up great after a lot of gorilla glue! I think the little bows on them are so adorable. I feel like such a girl when I wear them.

Well unfortunately I have to make a flyer for work so I have to stop blogging....BOOOOOO!

Day 71: Inspiration Monday

Its Inspiration Monday! I sent the lovely ladies from Two Birds Two Birds Blog an email about posting one of my pictures for inspiration Monday, and get this...they actually did it! Thanks ladies, you made me feel really special today. I did a post awhile back called, " My Movie Wardrobe Lusts" here's the post. I love the way Drew dresses and so happy they picked this photo 'cuz I have the perfect gray and white striped tee! Couldn't do the heels, I love to attempt fashion, but I love to play volleyball more, hence the sprained right ankle. No heels for this girl for awhile...

Yes I broke my 30 for 30 (again) but  i did wear the green shirt and tan boots so I'm 50% 30 for 30 today.

Oh and world, meet Lindsey's glasses, Lindsey's glasses-world. I have a thing about wearing them out in public. I don't do it. I have ridiculously poor eyesight and so even with all the gadgets they have these days  to trim 'em down, I am left with coke bottles.Since I'm not used to wearing them they give me a killer headache as well.  I have an eye infection so no contacts or eye makeup for 5 days. Been a swell couple of weeks, sprained ankle, fever, sore throat, and now an eye infection to add to the list. HOOORAY!!!

Oh well, at least I can still dress cute, right?
