Day 85: Just Add a Little Flower

We have some beautiful poppies in our backyard don't you agree? The roomies have been slaving away back there, it is coming together rather nicely...we have lights up, which has always been my vision for that backyard!

These photos were actually taken on Friday night. Josh and I had a little date night (his idea) we went to Applebee's (my idea) because they have the best Oreo cookie milkshakes ever (which I can only have 1/3rd of because of my intolerance, Josh refers to me as his "little lacto"

He loves me, even though I'm lactose intolerant....

he is humoring me by wearing that blue striped shirt I got him, now if we could just work on those shoes of his....

Its Monday already, yuck, yuck, yuck. I am hopefully getting my bike fixed today so I can ride it about in this beautiful city of Denver!

Day 75: Rainy Days=Inside Picture

Ok weather, seriously? Let's get something straight here, this is Colorado and we have 300 days of sunshine. It would be nice if those 65 cloudy days wouldn't come right in a row. Ok, it hasn't been 65 days of rain...but its been 4 and that is enough! Enough I say!

So Today is the 20th and I've only posted 11 outfits on my 30 for 30. I've missed that many days? Weak sauce. I'm horrible at this. But hey I'm trying!

The gloom has brought me inside today, the lighting in my room is horrible (yeah, lets go with that excuse!) so my face looks a little busted. Day 5 on the glasses today, I get to try to put my contacts in tomorrow WHOOOHOOOO!

Day 71: Inspiration Monday

Its Inspiration Monday! I sent the lovely ladies from Two Birds Two Birds Blog an email about posting one of my pictures for inspiration Monday, and get this...they actually did it! Thanks ladies, you made me feel really special today. I did a post awhile back called, " My Movie Wardrobe Lusts" here's the post. I love the way Drew dresses and so happy they picked this photo 'cuz I have the perfect gray and white striped tee! Couldn't do the heels, I love to attempt fashion, but I love to play volleyball more, hence the sprained right ankle. No heels for this girl for awhile...

Yes I broke my 30 for 30 (again) but  i did wear the green shirt and tan boots so I'm 50% 30 for 30 today.

Oh and world, meet Lindsey's glasses, Lindsey's glasses-world. I have a thing about wearing them out in public. I don't do it. I have ridiculously poor eyesight and so even with all the gadgets they have these days  to trim 'em down, I am left with coke bottles.Since I'm not used to wearing them they give me a killer headache as well.  I have an eye infection so no contacts or eye makeup for 5 days. Been a swell couple of weeks, sprained ankle, fever, sore throat, and now an eye infection to add to the list. HOOORAY!!!

Oh well, at least I can still dress cute, right?

Day 69: Cowgirl Up, Outfit 8

Ever have one of those days where everything that can go wrong will go wrong? My work day is over in 1 hour, thank the Lord! I am taking a break and posting this blog.
Sorry about the crappy doorway photos, camera battery went dead after first photo. (I am Miss Grouchy Pants today and couldn't quite muster up a smile.Not even putting on my favorite happy floral dress could snap me out of it)
