Day 145: Case of the Inspiration Mundays.

"Looks like somebody's got a case of the MUNdays!"

Little quote from office space to start your week. I love that movie. I'm not so crazy about my outfit today, but the inspiration for this week over at Two Birds Inspiration Monday is Sarah Jessica Parker (my fave) so I had to participate.

And here is my take (yawn)

Shoes: Goodwill (Target) $5, Jeans: Goodwill (Target) $6, Sweater: F21 $20, Shirt: Target $10, Necklace: Made by Moi

Don't get me wrong I love me some oversized sweater action, but it is supposed to be 74 degrees in Denver today! However, tomorrow we have a forecast of 32 and snow....ahhhh Denver in the Fall. So unpredictable. But I love it. The outfit is not inappropriate, however, as I am doing a lot of stuff around the house today, which is always a balmy 55 degrees, no matter the temperature outside. Ahh exposed brick and wood floors.

The new roomie moved in all of her stuff yesterday so I am moving and shaking things around in the living room, trying to get it all situated. I'm also looking at craft studio inspirations, hopefully her and I can come to an agreement about how to use our space. She will have to have a home office and I just have to have somewhere to craft/create jewelry masterpieces!

Some Craft Studio Inspiration Monday:

I like the "Craft Studio" lettering on the wall.

Get organized!!
Use some color!
Or perhaps pops of red.
Jewelry display a must!

Have a good Monday party people!

Day 129: My New Favorite Outfit

Boat Shoes: Goodwill (Target) $5, Boyfriend Jeans: Goodwill $7, Belt: Fossil, Gift from Sister, Plaid Shirt: Goodwill $3

I'm pretty sure I've worn this outfit on my blog before, makes sense if I have, because everyone: my new favorite outfit, my new favorite outfit: everyone.

Boyfriend jeans are amazing, they are almost (note I am saying "almost") as comfortable as sweatpants, and are just as easy to throw on. I wore this outfit twice last week. I can't help it!

Day 73: Days Like This, Outfit 10

Shoes: thrifted, Jeans: thrifted, Shirt: thrifted, Jacket: gifted, Necklace: gifted

isn't this little number pretty, got it from my momma on one of our many shopping trips together.

Loose the jacket and belt it: Belt: Christmas gift from Sister. Yes I realized I cut my head off in this photo oopsie.

Such a cheesy grin on my face here.
Momma always said they'll be days like this. I was all excited for my first intern interview today, he just called and canceled. Not gonna lie, kinda bummed about it, I really want this internship I'm directing to work, unfortunately there's no budget to actually PAY them, so getting applicants has been hard. I am still hopeful as I have one more interview next week...hopefully she will show up!

Now about my outfit: now this is cute. I got this striped shirt from the boys department at the Goodwill (hence it is a little short in the torso, but I love the red stripes, and this necklace makes me happy too. Wasn't so sure about pairing the blazer with the boyfriend jeans (which I found have stretched out a bit hence the belt I added)

By the numbers:
#5) Flats: Goodwill $6
#17) Striped Shirt, Goodwill (boys dept) $2
#23) Boyfriend Jeans: Goodwill $5
#12) Blazer: Calvin Klein, Gift from Mom

Necklace: Gifted from Mom
Belt: Gifted From Sister

Day 42: J Crew, How I Love You

I've had this fedora for awhile. Don't think I've ever worn it in public. Tonight is the night my friends! Snagged it from, KMART?!!!! I know surprising, right? That place is actually quite awesome for clothes and accessories, you should check it out sometime. My boyfriend picked out the top portion of my clothes, he did pretty good. We were walking in the mall together (i bribed him with frozen yogurt) and I saw this in the window of J Crew and said, "wow that's really cute" Never thought in a million years that he was actually paying attention to me, but Valentine's Day came around and there it was! Such a little stinker, actually listening to me :)

Oxfords: Goodwill $4, Boyfriend Jeans: Goodwill: $5, Belt: Goodwill $1, Cardigan and Tank: JCrew (vday gift from my lova) Fedora: KMart $7

My new ring my momma got me! Isn't it purty?

So I really wanted to wear my oxfords I thrifted for a measly $4 with my outfit tonight but this pesky little cut on my heel is permitting me from doing so. I'll have to wear my boring ol' flip flops 'cuz I think we are walking to dinner. It is a beautiful night here in Denver.
stupid handcart, now you are messing with fashion and that just aint coo'!
Off to dinner everyone! Have a good weekend! I am going snowboarding, only a few weeks left :(
